Advertised as 'the professional's chioce' I decided to try them. My GHD'S are well loved, but I've been needing to update them for a while. I never truely believed I would convert, but I have to say, the Pro 230 Radiance are now firm favorites of mine.
At £100, they are the same price as GHD'S, but included in that price is a ruby red pouch and heat mat. The Radiance Straighteners are also a gorgeous colour - as red and shiny as Dorothy's ruby shoes!

I have insanely thick, wavy hair, that frequently frizzes and so am very dubeous when a product claims to give 'salon straighteness that lasts twice as long'.The Babyliss Pro 230 Radiance do exactly what they say on the box! I put them on at full heat and used the de-tangling fins (retractable for finer hair)and although I thought the Babyliss straighteners would be bulkier than my GHD's, they slid through my hair with ease. At first, I used then without steam and they did a great job, but seemed no better than any other straightener on the market. The secret is in the steam. Once I'd got all that hot air involved, it was a different matter all together! Glossy, shiney and full of 'Radience', my hair was kink free and looked professionaly blow-dried.
I'd figured, if I didn't like the Babyliss PRO 230 Radiance straighteners I could always pawn them off to my sister (she's have them for the colour alone!), but I'm definately going to be keeping these. A great investment!
